I worked for a Dirk so I understood when Carol described him and what it was like to work for him. The descriptions of the author's characters are so vivid -- it's almost like they're really real people grin
Christina Harlin can really write a fun mystery tale. Her writing is so smoothly crafted, you don't even realize you're reading a book; it's as if you're just listening to your best friend tell her tale. Lighthearted and truly laugh out loud funny, Carol Frank and the cast of characters are well-woven into a mystery of whodunnit that you can't put down! This book is my favorite of the two -- both being extremely well-written and fun to read. I'm off to download the next in the series!
